Membership Tiers

The Friends of the Vinalhaven Public Library is a charitable organization that relies on our members to support our goals. Whether you love the library, want to promote education and literacy on Vinalhaven, or want to be involved in community events, the Friends need your help!

Choose the membership plan that best fits you, your family, or your organization. Memberships are valid for one year from the date of issuance and include the benefits outlined at right.

We make it easy to join or renew by either paying online or mailing a check. Online payments are processed through PayPal, a respected and secure online payment system. Giving with PayPal is just like any other online purchase, and you don't even have to create an account. Please provide your membership type and email address.*

  • For an individual member. $10 per year. Members receive direct access to the Friends newsletter (two issues per year) and a Friends sticker as a thank-you.

  • For a family group consisting of 2 adults and children under 18. $25 per year. Members receive direct access to the Friends newsletter (two issues per year) and a Friends sticker as a thank-you.

  • For a generous party of up to 2 adults. $50 per year. Members receive direct access to the Friends newsletter (two issues per year) and a Friends mug as a thank-you.

  • For a generous party of up to 2 adults. $100 per year. Members receive direct access to the Friends newsletter (two issues per year) and a Friends tote bag as a thank-you.

  • For a generous party of up to 2 adults. $200 per year. Members receive direct access to the Friends newsletter (two issues per year) and inclusion in up to two special events.
