“I think books are like people, in the sense that they’ll turn up in your life when you most need them.”
Emma Thompson
How can you help the Friends?
We always welcome new volunteers!
There are lots of different ways for people of all ages to support the Friends of the Library.
Just some of the ways we need your help…

Take an active role in leadership by joining or assisting the Board
Help with programming, fundraising, membership, and more on one of our committees
Contribute your special skills and expertise
Help with event set-up and take-down
Provide refreshments and other needs for library events
Help with the newsletter: write an article, share photos, edit articles, or assist with the mailing
Represent the Friends at community events like the Flea Market, Fourth of July, and Union Church Bazaar
